The last in my series of figurative watercolours for now, this was quite a quick one and shows a young woman reading whilst lounging outside on the grass in the sun. It's the most loosely painted of the series. The mainly hot colours I've chosen are to give the impression of a really hot day. A distant memory at this point in time.
I didn't get a chance to take any work in progress shots because I painted it in one session and needed it to remain wet and workable the whole time. No time to stop, basically a blind panic until it was finished.
Because it was relatively quick to complete and what with the world's finances being as they are at present, I've priced this painting quite low at just £145, framed and ready to hang.
